WWigtown has a storied history as being the center of Galloway; moreover, there is a group of dedicated citizens excited to work together for the common good of creating a stronger society. You may have noticed a recent shortage of stat food (Veggies, Meat, Milk, or Fish) on the market. As a group, we have been working to address these shortages and are always happy to support denizens in their ventures to provide goods for the town where possible.

If you are looking for work, and would like to assist your County, please focus your attention on the iron mine. Wages are £13.28 for a 22 hour shift, or if you want to split your time up between that and something else, choose a shorter time then take a position in the militia, which is £9 until reset. As you obtain new skills, you will earn more for working in the iron mine.

In order to progress in game, you will need to acquire experience points (XP) for completing tasks. As you gain them, go to your "Skill Trees" menu, and use your Skill Points to open up new levels of activity. Each level unlocks new opportunities to work in the Mines, (Out of Town), work for another player (Town Hall, Job Offers tab), and to vote and eventually, cultivate your fields. Without unlocking certain skills there are things you will not be able to do – working being the most important of these.

WARNING: be careful what you click, because once you have clicked to “learn” a skill, you cannot change it, so don’t use up all your skill points at the start – as you progress, there will be other skills you will need and you will get more points to use too. If you have questions or need advice on skill points, please don't hesitate to reach out!

If anyone has any ideas that they would like to share in where Wigtown (Alessandria) is going, please feel free to message Lorcan, Potema, Emerald, or Penn! For instance, I've been toying with the idea of a Happy Hour in the Tavern for all to come to! If we can find ways to get to know eachother better and enjoy shenanigans, it will make our common toil more fun!

Keep in mind our youngest citizens. They do not have a lot of pounds, and need to be able to buy what they need at fair prices.

- Militia: Keep up the great work! 2 spots/day, 9 pounds in your pockets!
- Mines: work in the iron-mines preferred.
