The town hall has a small reserve of wood and iron ore. Don't hesitate to contact the Mayor if you need wood or iron for your personal business.

WHERE CAN I WORK?
There are several types of jobs to do LOCALLY in An Caiseal. You have profession work, field work, fruit picking, mine work and militia positions for those who finish before reset and can help defend our town, it's very important we do this! I'm not going to cover "higher level" stuff (university, etc).
Typically the order of importance is:
"Requested" Profession > Field Work > Fruit Picking > Mine Work
You won't always have profession work to do and sometimes no field jobs are available. I call it "requested" because if you are a Blacksmith and there are no knives on the market, then making some knives is more important. However, if there are 12 knives on the market and you don't have any orders for anything, skip the workshop and check to see if anyone needs a field worker that day.
Agitha's suggestion to you is to pick fruit over working the mine and contact that town hall to arrange for a purchase of your fruit if you aren't going to eat it for charisma points. There is a "fruit picking tool" listed at the bottom of this message for more details on how to pick fruit most effectively!
IMPORTANT: If you couldn't do the above work, then then please consider working in the mine. (Out of Town -> Works -> Work).
WHAT FIELD SHOULD I CHOOSE?
* Don't use vegetable fields. We are a fruit town and you can pick fruit faster than raise vegetables. Use your fields for something more productive (corn, wheat or animals)
* Corn and wheat fields are the easiest fields to have. Corn feeds pigs and humans. Wheat is milled by Millers to make flour which is sold to Bakers to make bread from. Excess corn and wheat can be sold to the county to use for fodder (to breed animals).
* Animals are recommended for citizens with some experience (and money as well). Much more planning and overhead cost is involved here.
--> Sheep are used to source wool and hides (both used by generally by Weavers)
--> Cows are used as a source for milk (food item, +1 INT/+1 HP) and HWs (used to make edible pieces of meat (+2 STR, +2 HP) by Butchers)
--> Pigs are used as a source of HHWs (used to make edible pieces of meat (+2 STR, +2 HP) by Butchers)
Of course, these are simple recommendations that will not stop you from using any kind of field you want on your property. Please feel free to contact Agitha for what the town needs if you don't have your heart set on something specific.
