Greetings Citizens and Visitors of Whithorn!
MINES: Galloway County has asked that citizens of Whithorn only work the gold mine as a last resort due to this mine costing the county so much iron and stone to maintain. Instead of working the mine, please consider fishing as the county is currently buying all fish priced 19 pounds or under. I do leave a few pieces of fish up on the market at all times though to ensure those that need intelligence can purchase them as needed.
TAVERNS: Please visit the taverns to eat, drink, and be merry! The food may be a few pence more expensive than on the market, but all incomes are used for the benefit and defense of our home. The TH tavern is currently stocked with bread and corn, but if you prefer other food on the menu, let me know and that can be arranged.
WOOD SHORTAGE: As of late, the county of Galloway has been going through a wood shortage. If you are in need of wood, please write to me individually along with the quantity you require and what purpose you need it for. I will do my best to accommodate all requests. Please do not buy the wood on the market for 10 pounds as that is a very unreasonable price.
STAT FOODS: Please do not buy more than 1 week worth of stat food at a time. Other people need stat food, too.
IRON/STONE/CLAY: If you need any of these items, contact me I'll source them for you.
WOOD and FLOUR: These are basic raw materials needed by many citizens so please be mindful and don't buy all the quantity present in the market at once. Other people need these items as well.
RELIGION
You can listen to Mass twice per week – on Sundays and Thursdays. It gives you Faith and increases your Mood
Every Sunday you can also go to Confession. This gives you Virtue and increases your Mood. Also, giving to beggars and donating to the town hall once a week will increase your Faith too.
If anyone has any ideas that we can use to improve our town, please let me know!
